Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 August 2026
1. The service
Tropus generates an original song from a short description you write, or from a genre you pick. The song is composed, played, sung, and mixed computationally. Tropus is currently offered free of charge: you request a one-time code by email, and each code makes one song.
2. Who provides the service
Tropus is provided by Llull Lab (Firat Ilim, entrepreneur individuel), SIREN 988 721 320 (SIRET 988 721 320 00014), APE 7220Z, 61 rue de Lyon, 75012 Paris, France. Contact: contact@llulllab.com.
3. Access
To make a song, you request a one-time code sent to your email address. Each code works once and expires within 24 hours. There is no account. Keep access to your email secure.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Tropus to create or distribute unlawful content, to infringe the rights of others (including copyright in lyrics you submit), to impersonate or defame, or to submit another person's personal data without a lawful basis. Do not attempt to interfere with the service, to overload it, or to bypass the code gate or its abuse limits. We may refuse or suspend access for breach of this section.
5. Your content and the songs you make
The prompt and any lyrics you submit remain yours. To the extent that Tropus holds any rights in the track it generates for you, those rights are assigned or licensed to you for unrestricted use, including commercial use, subject to Section 4 and to your holding the underlying rights in anything you provided (such as your own lyrics). We do not use your prompts, lyrics, or songs to train our own models. Tropus's own software, interface, and method remain the property of Llull Lab (Firat Ilim, entrepreneur individuel).
6. Computational output: no guarantee
Songs are generated computationally. They may be uneven, and they may resemble existing works. They are provided as a creative aid, without warranty of accuracy, originality, or fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant that a track is free of resemblance to existing works or that your use of it will not infringe a third party's rights. You are responsible for any clearance your use requires.
7. Availability
We aim to keep Tropus available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and generation is subject to capacity limits. A song that is available for download is not archived for you; please save your own copy.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the service is limited to what you have paid for it, which for a free service is nil. This limit does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud (dol), for gross negligence (faute lourde), or to any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Nothing here limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer under French law.
9. Governing law
French law applies. Where you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings before the courts competent under those rules.
